Disc
Edge + Screw = Disc¶
- Step 1: In Front View, Create a Vertex-plane by Speedflow companion.
- Step 2: Extrude (E) an edge with pressing Ctrl.
- Step 3: Add “Screw” modifier. Done!
Editable Disc
- Edit Steps option of Screw modifier .
5 Steps = Pentagon
6 Steps = hexagon
7 Steps = Heptagon
8 Steps = Octagon
More....
- Edit other options of Screw .
Ring¶
- Create a disc.
- In Edit mode, move vertex .
Displace + Screw = Disc¶
- Step 1: Create a Vertex-plane by Speedflow companion .
- Step 2: Extrude (E) an edge with pressing Ctrl.
- Step 3: Add Displace , Set Direction is Y or Normal.
- Step 4: Add “Screw” modifier. Done!
- Change Outer Radius by Displace.
- Change Inner Radius by move vertex ( Edit Mode)
Displace + Displace + Screw¶
- Step 1: Create a Vertex-plane by Speedflow companion .
- Step 2: Extrude (E) an edge with pressing Ctrl.
- Step 3: Add Displace to 1st vertex , Set Direction is Y or Normal. Set Strength is 0 . named ” Displace - Y - Inner Radius”. (Edit Mode)

Step 4: Go into Edit Mode , add Displace to 2nd vertex , Set Direction is Y or Normal. Set Strength is 2. named ” Displace - Y - Outer Radius”.

Step 5: Add “Screw” modifier. named “Screw - Z - Rotation Segments” Done!
Tips: Check the Face orientation.
- Change Outer Radius by Displace’s Strength.
- Change Inner Radius by Displace’s Strength.
- Change Rotation Segments by Screw’s Steps.
- Change Disc Segments by Bevel’s Segments or add Loop Cut (Ctrl+R)
Step 1 : In Edit mode, using Loop Cut ( Ctrl + R) for add a vertex
or Select a vertex , and Rip Vertices and Extend ( Alt + D), press y .
Step 2 : Add Bevel to middle vertex. named “Bevel - Disc Segments “.
